Growing a Giant Pumpkin, Part 4

Our pumpkins are growing! Summer is truly here, and our pumpkin plants are crawling like crazy. They are sending out their tendrils all over the garden, soaking up that sun, and converting that energy into making pumpkins! No open flowers yet, but it is still early in the season.

At this point in time, it is important to keep your pumpkins (plus other plants like tomatoes and peppers and squash) fertilized. A great organic fertilizer is Neptune's Harvest Fish Emulsion, which gives your plants a gentle boost without burning their roots. Plus, it is organic and made from fish right here in New England. If you need help with your garden, check out KTDesignWorks.com for all your gardening needs.

We will keep you updated on our great pumpkin saga! Do you have any tips? We would love to hear them!
